Gather Beneath the Moon to Grow the Future of Birth Center Care

At the Moonlit Masquerade, we gather in celebration, but also in purpose.

Across the country, people are seeking compassionate, evidence-based, community-centered care. Midwifery-led birth centers offer a model that improves outcomes, expands options, and centers dignity, autonomy, and connection during one of life’s most transformative moments. Yet too many communities still lack access.

That is why the AABC Foundation exists.

As the only foundation dedicated exclusively to advancing the midwifery-led birth center model, we work to grow more birth centers and serve more families by investing in the people, research, and systems that make this model possible.

Together, we are helping to:

Grow and sustain birth centers by supporting the continued development, expansion, and long-term stability of the birth center model.
Expand access to care through scholarships and educational opportunities for birth center providers and staff, helping strengthen the workforce families depend on.
Advance research and evidence by funding quantitative and qualitative studies, and sharing what we learn to improve perinatal healthcare.
Educate and inspire by increasing awareness of the critical role birth centers play in improving perinatal health outcomes and expanding care options.
Champion excellence by supporting birth centers seeking accreditation through the Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers (CABC), the gold standard in birth center care.

Like moonlight illuminating the path ahead, your support helps light the way toward a future where every person has access to high-quality, midwifery-led birth center care.

When you participate in the Moonlit Masquerade, you are helping build that future, one birth center, one provider, and one family at a time.
