The Monterey Peninsula Sunrise Rotary is comprised of 20 engaged Rotarians who have a passion for serving the community and getting together in fellowship. We meet the first 3 Tuesday mornings of the month at 7am at First Awakenings in Monterey, CA. We provide service to our local and international communities. Locally we feed the less fortunate men and women in our community by providing dinner through IHELP (Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program). We volunteer at the Food Bank for Monterey County monthly. In addition a team of Rotarians from our club provide meals to seniors through Meals on Wheels.

On the International front, we partner with Hope Haven West to provide pediatric wheelchairs to children in need in South America, Latin America, Mexico and other international locations. Members travel to seating clinics to customize chairs for children and pay 100% of their own expenses.

During the year we have a fundraiser event and use those funds to make grants to non-profits through our Charitable Giving Committee. If you have an interest in doing good in the world, please join our group and/or attend one of our monthly meetings to meet us and find out more about our Club!
