Close Up students are once again painting terracotta pots to fundraise for their trip to Washington D.C./ NYC in 2025. Each pot has been hand painted/decorated and complete with planted flower or plant. The highest bidder at the end of the auction will be the winner and can pick up their pot or have it delivered.

What started as a creative way to pass the time during the Covid Lockdown of spring 2020 turned into a biennial successful student fundraiser.

This year we have 21 HHS students planning on attending the Presidential Inauguration and Close Up workshops for a week in January. We have added on 2 days in NYC seeing all the major cultural and historical sites. Our students have been actively fundraising for two years to participate in the educational experience.
