This online auction was created by Victoria Price, the daughter of actor Vincent Price.

After her hometown of Hendersonville in Western North Carolina was hit hard by Hurricane Helene, she collaborated with the Community Foundation of Henderson County to raise funds for people who lost their homes or small businesses due to mud or flood and are not receiving any compensation from their insurance companies.

As Victoria and community members reached out to people around the world, the donations for an online auction began to pour in.

Although many of the items were donated by the horror community, we also received some very cool donations from artists, musicians, concerned individuals, and dog lovers. And so, in addition to the very successful HendoWEen Auction, which far exceeded our goal of $5,000, we have created this Mud & Flood Auction.

Kicking off on Giving Tuesday 2024, it will run through the holiday season, ending on January 12, 2025.
