Hey Everyone,
Having been in recovery for 38 years, I’ve experienced and seen firsthand the devastating impact that alcohol and drugs can have on individuals and families. But I’ve also seen the power of recovery and the transformation of individuals when they work the 12 steps. Since 2016 Bill and My Recovery Day have worked hard to support the recovery community and we need to show our support. When I saw the My Recovery Day Jam begin to take shape I was blown away—an event at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that brings musicians in recovery onstage to share their stories and play music that inspires hope. Very cool.
Even more incredible? This event is live-streamed to recovery organizations across the country, reaching tens of thousands of people. It helps reduce the stigma around addiction and shows those in early recovery that healing is possible—and you can have fun while staying sober.
But this work can’t continue without support.
That’s where you come in.
Whether it's a donation of money, time, or goods, grabbing a raffle ticket, or encouraging your company to consider a sponsorship, every bit makes a difference. My Recovery Day needs us so they can keep doing this vital work. Feel free to call Bill at 216-978-9902 with any questions. He will be happy to help.
Last year, over 55,000 people in recovery watched the livestream, and 300 attended in person. I have been to this event personally for the last three years and can tell you this event is not only meaningful—it is a blast.
Don’t wait—buy a VIP ticket and come hang out with everyone at the Rock Hall before prices go up! I hope to be there this year and would love to see you too.
If your life has been touched by addiction—or if you simply believe recovery deserves compassion, not shame—please support this fundraiser and national outreach event.
With love and gratitude,
Mike
