Join Us for the First Serve Banquet: A Night of Volleyball, Community, and Giving!

You're invited to the First Serve Banquet, a semi-formal evening of celebration, inspiration, and giving, hosted by the North Carolina A&T State University Volleyball Team! On August 23rd at 6:00 PM EST (Doors open at 5:30pm), we’ll come together for an unforgettable night featuring a delicious Italian dinner, a live auction, and a special guest speaker from the volleyball community.

This event is not just a celebration of our team’s achievements but also a crucial fundraiser for our upcoming trip to Italy. As the first-ever HBCU to make the CAA conference tournament, we’re breaking barriers and making history—and we need your support to continue this momentum!

Event Highlights

- Live Auction: Bid on incredible items like signed jerseys from Team USA, exclusive team gear, care packages, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences like being the coach for a day!
- Guest Speaker: Hear from Rose Magers-Powell: Silver Medalist in the 1984 Olympics, and 2007 Recipient of the All-time Great Volleyball Player Award!
- Italian Dinner: Enjoy a delicious meal while connecting with fellow volleyball enthusiasts, current and former players, alumni, and community members.

Why We Need Your Support

Spring Break 2026, our team is embarking on a transformative journey to Italy for competition and cultural exchange. For many of our student-athletes, this will be their first time traveling outside the country—an experience that will broaden their horizons and leave a lasting impact.

Our fundraising goal is $10,000, which will help cover travel, accommodations, meals, and unique cultural experiences. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, our last trip in 2022 became a reality. Let’s make this dream come true again!
