ABOUT NEIGHBOR

Our mission is to support and connect residents of Chelsea from all ages and walks of life, to see the impact that comes from being a neighbor.

Three years ago, Neighbor started with this vision and launched through the generosity of Chelsea neighbors, Storefront Church, and countless volunteers. Since then, our vision has been realized beyond our imagination. Neighbors are gathering for community dinners, art exhibitions, craft nights, grief groups, neighborhood association meetings and more. We've forged trust with community organizations, religious organizations, and advocacy groups, resulting in collaboration that deepens impact for all.

You are joining us for a critical moment as we see our vision realized and dream of what is next.

Your generosity enables us to:

Connect Neighbors: Through community dinners and free events hosted by neighbors
Support Community Leaders: Connect and equip non-profit leaders in Chelsea and help them deepen impact for all. This has been done informally since our inception. But this spring, we are launching a Community Leaders Coalition and upcoming Incubator program for emerging non-profit leaders in the neighborhood.
Foster Artist Development: Under the leadership of our Artist Council, Neighbor is launching an artist residency program that supports and equips artists as they prepare for a debut solo exhibition in Chelsea.

YOUR SUPPORT

Because Neighbor is still in the process of becoming its own 501c3 non-profit organization, Storefront Church is graciously handling our finances until we formalize our own. Because of this, all ticket purchases, donations, and auction item winnings will be processed through Storefront Church with 100% of the proceeds are earmarked for Neighbor. All donations are tax deductible.
