My name is Mellie Bevilacqua, and I am honored to serve as the Executive Director of The Foundation for Southeast Texas. We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) community foundation dedicated to strengthening our region by financially supporting nonprofits throughout Hardin, Jefferson, and Orange counties - and beyond.

For the past 30 years, The Foundation has served as a cornerstone of local philanthropy in Southeast Texas, connecting generous donors with meaningful opportunities to give back. Since our founding, we have granted more than $20 million to over 500 nonprofit organizations, including over $1.7 million in 2025 alone to more than 325 organizations making a difference in our community.

To celebrate this legacy of giving, we are excited to host our Fifth Annual Benefit Concert featuring acclaimed Texas country artist Jack Ingram on September 17 at Amelia Farm and Market in Beaumont.

This special evening not only celebrates three decades of philanthropy - it also helps ensure we can continue supporting the hundreds of nonprofits that serve our region every day. The success of this event, and the impact it creates, is only possible because of the generosity of our sustainers, sponsors, and donors.
