Helping Hands of Georgetown eagerly works with other stakeholders throughout the community to provide a hand up for the working poor and underserved by offering barrier free access to basic necessities with an emphasis on food insecurity.

In 2023, we dug in our heels and implemented some positive transitions as an organization in order to focus on our effectiveness throughout the Georgetown community. Seeing the rapidly rising need for food security and shelter has made it even more crucial for us to expand our reach and impact as we roll into 2025! It has been because of support from the generous and compassionate residents of Georgetown that we have been able to continue carrying out our mission for the past eight years.

This year, we are holding a Southern Surf ‘n’ Turf Shindig to help raise awareness and funding for our community support programs. We are working on the final phases on acquiring a 2nd Mobile Pantry!
