Walk for Warmth is an annual one-mile walk organized by the Ottawa County Community Action Agency (OCCAA) to raise funds that help keep the heat on for income-eligible families in Ottawa County who are facing utility shut-off notices for gas, electric, water, or deliverable fuels such as propane. One hundred percent of the funds raised remain in Ottawa County, providing critical, one-time assistance that helps working families stabilize their households and move forward with hope.

Funds are raised through pledges, donations, and event sponsorships. Even if you are unable to contribute financially, we encourage you to join us in walking to help raise awareness of the ongoing need for utility assistance in our community.

Silent Auction
Our Silent Auction will open online on Wednesday, February 18 at 12:00 PM and will close during the event on Friday, February 20 at 6:45 PM (payment due by 7:00 PM). In-person participation is encouraged, but online bidding is available for those unable to attend.

Event Schedule – Friday, February 20
• 5:30 PM – Event begins
• 5:45 PM – Walk starts
• 6:30 PM – Special OCCAA announcement
• 6:45 PM – Silent Auction closes
• 7:00 PM – Event concludes
