In 1998, four Deaf women from Massachusetts traveled to Seattle to learn about sexual and domestic violence in the Deaf community. Shortly after, Our Deaf Survivors Center, Inc. (ODSC, Inc.) was established as the first and only advocacy resource specifically for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals in Massachusetts.

Our Mission

ODSC, Inc. is dedicated to serving individuals impacted by domestic and sexual violence within Deaf communities. We provide culturally sustaining resources and services to create a compassionate community that centers on the self-determination of every person affected by these issues.
