*Fort Mill EMS has stations on either side of Tega Cay and has continuously served the Tega Cay area since the very first homes were built in the early 1970s, and served the broader Fort Mill area since 1955! FMEMS is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization with a focus on volunteer opportunities, training, and community involvement, and maintains both stations 24/7 and 365 days a year staffed with a mix of paid and volunteer paramedics. You may also have seen them at every community event ranging from football games to fall festivals. They currently have openings in their robust Cadet program that is geared towards local high school students who are interested in pursuing a medical career that allows them to get a full scholarship towards their EMT, on-the-job training, and great experience – neatly packaged for students to complete before college starts in the fall.
