Why We Fundraise

Every week, our eSports athletes represent BHS from home in statewide and reginal competitions. Last year, our players earned 2nd place at a small tournament in Scribner, NE. They showed their teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership. Things that can't be shown remotely. The qualities of a our BHS athletes caught the attention of local college scouts. On the spot they were offered JV positions on the college team with 25k scholarships!

eSports is more than just gaming. For many of our students, this is their outlet, their team, and their home. Research shows that being involved in school activities raises GPA by at least one full point. This program builds confidence, friendships, and pathways to higher education.

Now we need your help to continue to represent the school and support this co-ed sport!

Our Goal

We must raise funds to keep our program moving forward. Most of this will go toward transportation so our students can compete in person, but part will also support essential equipment upgrades that allow us to stay competitive at the highest level.

$15 fuels equipment upgrades
$30 fuels a seat on the bus
$100 fuels a row
$250 fuels a tournament trip for about 8 students
$500 fuels a trip to state championships for the whole team
$800 fuels a trip to the Scottsbluff's 2-Day Tournament (partial team)
