For more than 40 years, Chico Community Ballet has brought dance, creativity, and unforgettable performances to our community. During our milestone 2026–2027 season, we are taking on one of our most ambitious projects yet: an entirely new original ballet, The Land of Oz, coming to Laxson Auditorium January 29–31, 2027.

Creating Oz from the ground up is a huge undertaking. New choreography, handcrafted costumes, custom sets, props, staging, and production expenses represent an investment of approximately $180,000.
