Our goal is to raise a minimum of $30,000.00 for camperships, camping equipment and maintenance. Ensuring that all youth have the opportunity to experience the transformative power of the great outdoors and community at Laketrails Basecamp. Your contributions directly fund scholarships that make Laketrails accessible to more young adventurers. Additionally, we aim to reignite the Laketrails spirit by bringing together friends old and new.

Beyond campership funding, support is needed this year to replace our inventory of tents. Most of the tents being used now are 25 years old and wearing out!

Other Needs beyond these three top priorities:

Replacement of 2- 4 lawn mowers
Sleeping bags
Bunk bed mattresses
Funding to eventually replace the camp truck. The current vehicle is starting to have frequent mechanical issues.
Funding to replace/build a new camper cabin. Looking to build a fund to do this in 28/29
Funding to purchase a tractor for camp. We can't seem to get the old-timer tracker on the island running :).

This experience really helped me come out of my shell and become more confident in myself. It also taught me skills that I plan to work on in the following years, each time I come back to Laketrails or even camping on my own.
