What is Big Day at the Lake?

On July 22, 2023, people in Lake Norman will open their boats and hearts for deserving “Littles” and their “Bigs.” The “Boat Hosts” tube and swim with their guests who arrive by car at the chosen meeting place: A marina, public ramp, boat club or a private home.

The mornings are full of fun, and Boat Hosts often join together to increase the fun. Thanks to electronic communications and Facebook, the meet-ups can occur at any location.

The day normally concludes with a picnic and fun for participants at the Explorium Huntersville.

Either way, please know that virtually all our expenses are covered by in-kind donations. Same as usual, we are working on t-shirts for all participants this year.

Join us on April 28 at Lost World's Brewing Company in Cornelius as we enjoy an evening of fun and fundraising for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Carolinas.
