Pickle4Pets was first launched when a group of retired friends, pickleball players and avid pet lovers discussed how to best support the local animal rescue community. With an event location secured and a dedicated group of volunteers, the idea became a reality in 2023!

The first year's event was a huge success and raised nearly $30,000!

Each year, the event grows, and this year we hope to set a new fundraising record, all while enjoying a great day of pickleball and fun that benefits The Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch!

The Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch is a 501(c)(3) organization in Myakka City, FL dedicated to providing life-saving medical care, and re-homing dogs, cats and rabbits to their perfect forever homes.

If you are interested in volunteering for Pickle4Pets the day of the event, reach out to Bob Kichler at BobKichler@gmail.com or 404-932-4950.

If you would like more information on The HSLWR or to volunteer, visit www.hslwr.org/volunteer.

Thank you for supporting Pickle4Pets and for helping to save more precious dogs, cats and rabbits!
