Children grow in community. It’s a universal truth we see here in Conejo Valley, and one Mako sees first-hand 17,000 miles away in rural Ghana, West Africa. Through Mako Children’s Fund, a global community has forged, making childhood possible for hundreds of children in rural Ghana. Our U.S. and Ghanaian leaders have worked side by side for more than a decade, and in many ways, our work has just begun!

Through Mako, children in rural Ghana have a safe place to learn, nourish, gather, and grow — the everyday support and opportunity that simply wouldn’t exist without this community showing up.

Play It Forward is how we show up for children who yearn to learn, to be nourished, to gather, and grow.
