Proceeds from this event benefit We Are All Music (WAAM) and Sounds of Saving (SoS), 501(c)(3),
organizations committed to saving lives through music. Guided by empirical research, we promote
positive mental health outcomes by equipping youth with the tools needed to harness music’s
proven ability to combat anxiety and depression—the root causes of suicide.

More than a Great Cause

Supporting the Plan
Together, WAAM and SoS are partnering on The Box Set*, a groundbreaking new program designed to
equip young people with accessible, music-based tools for emotional resilience, self-expression, and brain
health. This innovative initiative will integrate SoS’s proven mental health content and outreach strategies
with WAAM’s research-driven approach to using music to reduce anxiety, depression, and suicide risk.
SoS co-founder and psychotherapist, Charlie Gross, is also serving on WAAM’s Music Impact Council
(MIC) — a quarterly convening of field leaders, artists, clinicians, and changemakers helping to shape
WAAM’s programs and strategy around music and mental/brain health.

By blending our expertise, communities, and creative approaches, WAAM and SoS are working to
reach more people—especially young people—with the message that music isn’t just a soundtrack
to our lives, it’s a lifeline.
