A Brushstroke for the Reef

An exciting online Fine Art Auction is being held to benefit Lr³ – the Lighthouse Reef Research Repository. To help fund this bold conservation initiative, artist Francisco André Martinez—known simply as André—has donated a collection of his original paintings.

Featured works like The Old Man & The Sea, East Wind, and Half Moon Caye Rocks offer intimate glimpses into Belize’s vibrant landscapes and marine life, captured through André’s masterful eye and deep connection to the reef.

Proceeds will go directly toward launching Lr³, supporting sustainable infrastructure, scientific research, and preservation of one of the last wild reefs in the Caribbean.
