Connect for a Cause is an auction designed to connect buyers and sellers. Through an online auction portal, sellers can bid on the chance to win 60 minutes with CEOs and top financial leaders. The best part is that 100% of the proceeds go to BUILD Boston which helps create fair playing fields for Boston youth - regardless of their race, socioeconomic status, or neighborhood.

Why is Vendr hosting Connect for a Cause?

Vendr believes in creating fair playing fields, everywhere.

We also believe today’s buyer-seller connection is broken, and that by connecting buyers and sellers, we can create fair playing fields. When you connect the right buyer to the right seller, it’s a win-win for both sides.

What is BUILD Boston?

Similar to Vendr, BUILD Boston is all about creating fair playing fields. BUILD Boston creates fair playing fields for Boston youth - regardless of their race, socioeconomic status, or neighborhood. Focused on entrepreneurial education, BUILD is recognized as a leader in teaching self-agency, resilience and grit, a growth mindset, and helping high school students to develop social capital, financial literacy, and valuable 21st Century skills.

When does Connect for a Cause occur?

The auction will launch in early January 2023 and close at the end of that month. In early February, the Vendr team will connect buyers and sellers, and you will have until the end of March to schedule your time.
