If you purchased an Event Ticket, your ticket serves as a contribution to the Anne Saxelby Legacy Fund. All event donations over $80 per ticket are tax deductible. ASLF is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Anne Saxelby was a trailblazer in New York City’s culinary world. As the founder of Saxelby Cheesemongers, she forged lasting connections between sustainable farmers and the city’s top chefs, helping to shape a food culture rooted in quality, care, and community. After her sudden passing in 2021, the Anne Saxelby Legacy Fund was founded to carry her vision forward.

ASLF provides monthlong, fully paid apprenticeships on sustainable farms, offering young adults from all backgrounds the chance to work, learn, and create meaningful change in their communities and beyond. We support all wages, travel, and lodging to ensure that cost is never a barrier to participation. In 2025, we launched Legacy Apprenticeships—extended, project-based experiences for alumni to deepen their knowledge and build careers in sustainable food systems.
