Queer|Art and Doll Invasion announce the launch of the inaugural QUEER|ART x DOLL INVASION AUCTION, an online fundraiser featuring extraordinary works and rare cultural artifacts by artists, performers, and creators whose voices continue to shape queer and trans culture. The auction is now live and will close on Labor Day, Monday, September 1st at 8:00 PM ET. Place your bids here!

The auction includes a staggering array of items, including original artworks, signed books and posters, designer t-shirts, vinyl records, neon sculptures, private home cooked dinners, astrology readings, and more. Contributing artists include legends such as Alison Roman, Chani Nicholas, Hari Nef, Devan Shimoyama, Cassils, Zackary Drucker, Gogo Graham, Jeffrey Gibson, Paul Mpagi Sepuya, Martine Gutierrez, and more. And as the cherry on top, we have several pieces of signed memorabilia from the super graphic ultra modern girl herself, Chappell Roan!

The star-studded auction is raising crucial funds for Queer|Art and Advocates for Trans Equality (A4TE) supporting everything from artist grants and mentorship to name change services and legal support at the national level.

Fire Island has been a lush, community-driven safe haven for queer New Yorkers since the 1920s. Over the years, the island has become financially inaccessible to most outside of the “G” in LGBT. Doll Invasion was created in response.

Doll Invasion is an annual fund-rager with an all-trans lineup, providing trans attendees travel support, free buses, need-based stipends, and more, bringing a record number of trans people to Fire Island in mass solidarity every year. Doll Invasion is not the first to try and diversify the Island, but they are humbly joining the effort. The team works with passionate residents, local businesses, property owners, and nonprofits to produce this annual event.
