When children are removed from their homes out of concern for their welfare, they are usually brought to the child welfare services office to await placement with a foster family. This wait can be several hours or days. The children sometimes have nothing with them. They are scared. They are lonely. They are hungry. They are sometimes dirty. They are confused.

Isaiah 117 House will provide a comforting, safe home where these children can wait for foster family placement. Trained volunteers provide care, clean clothes, toys, meals, and smiles while the child welfare staff can do the necessary paperwork and identify a good foster placement.

Women's Council of Realtors- Memphis has created an online auction with a portion of the proceeds going to Isaiah 117 House.
