On November 18, 2023, I will become a Bar Mitzvah. A “mitzvah project” (or community service project) is an important part of the Bar Mitzvah experience. The definition of a “mitzvah” is a good deed.

For my project, I will be raising money for The Cole Zelwin Memorial Foundation in memory of my cousin. Last year, Cole, who was just 11, passed away from Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Cole was kind, generous, and had an impact on a lot of people’s lives. Cole’s foundation supports research to fight pediatric AML, so no family has to go through what his mom, dad, sister Cailey, and entire family are going through.

I am incorporating my passion for sports with this amazing cause.
