The Rich Vogler Scholarship Foundation’s mission is to encourage members of the racing community to further their education.

Scholarships of $2,500 each are awarded to candidates each year.
Scholarships may be used for any type of education – special education to trade schools to universities!
Over $400,000 in scholarships have been awarded to deserving recipients and counting…

The Foundation was founded in 1991 with donations from the Valvoline and Hoosier Tire companies in memory of one of the great open-wheel drivers of all time. Rich was one of the winningest drivers in motorsports history, with 171 USAC and 200+ "outlaw" career wins before his death in 1990.

The Scholarships are funded by contributions from the general public through fundraising events such as this hybrid online/in-person auction.

Online bidding starts at 3:00pm Indiana time on July 1, 2026.
In-person bidding will start at Winchester Speedway in Indiana at 2:00pm on July 19, 2026.
You must be registered to bid by 8:00pm on Saturday, July 18 to bid in-person at the Speedway.
All bidding ends at 2:30pm (approximate-weather permitting) Indiana time on July 19, 2026.
