Welcome to the MFA Thesis film from Abel Alejandre called Roughly Cut Diamonds. We are very excited to share this new project with everyone and expand the community to make this movie a reality and share it with the world.

After surviving decades of forced banditry by a Gang, a recently escaped and injured outlaw must choose to break the cycle before she is consumed by the bloodlust ingrained from her stolen childhood.

OBSIDIA CORNERSTONE, outlaw turned gunsmith, finds herself working for her savior and mentor, STITCH STORMWEAVER. While she at night she struggles with nightmares of her past deeds and faces this killer instinct of brutality. She strives to live a new life of non-violence, however, see is eventually called into.

While she is out for groceries, she runs into thugs robbing a family. While she is successful in scaring off the punks, her past begins to resurface in front her. The instincts of killing versus her calm logical persona.

That night her old gang, THE ELEMENTALS, begins to raze the town to the ground. Forcing her confront the question that keeps her up at night… Whether to pick up the gun again or keep on running..
