The Story

One family's journey — and why they built this.

Over 30 years ago, Dann and Roxane Aungst's marriage nearly collapsed under the weight of addiction, infidelity, and wounds neither of them fully understood. Their children grew up inside that pain. Their son David became the family peacemaker at an age no child should carry that weight. Their daughter Cassie grew up anxious, never quite feeling like enough.

But something happened. Dann hit rock bottom. He surrendered. Roxane chose forgiveness over bitterness. Slowly, painfully, and by the grace of God — their family began to heal.

Dann has spent over a decade working with men trapped in addiction, walking them out of the same darkness he was once in. Today David has left his career to run the ministry full time. Cassie is building the children's content for families like the one she grew up in. Not because they were recruited — because they watched a miracle and couldn't walk away from it.

When does the program launch?

The fundraising campaign launches May 2, 2026. Course content begins rolling out to Founding Members in the months that follow, with the full program complete within 12–18 months of campaign close.

Is this in person or online?

Restoring the Family is fully online. There are no parish workshops, no in-person retreats, no travel required. You join from anywhere — at your own pace, on your own schedule. (We piloted an in-person workshop to test the content; the delivery model is online.)

What's the difference between the Complete Program and the Video Course?

The Complete Program ($25/month at public launch) includes everything — the full video curriculum, monthly live sessions with Catholic experts, the private community, printed books and workbooks, and spousal access. The Video Course Only ($250 one-time at public launch) is the full video curriculum on its own, for families who want to work through the teaching independently. Both options give you the core content; the Complete Program adds the live community piece. Most giving levels in this campaign include one of these at no additional cost — at founding-donor rates you won't see again.

Is this only about sexuality?

No. While sexual purity and identity are part of the program, the core focus is on healing childhood wounds, building identity in Christ, spiritual warfare, and equipping parents to raise faithful children in every area of life.

Who is behind Road to Purity?

Road to Purity was founded by Dann Aungst, a Certified Addiction Counselor and author, and is run as a family — with his wife Roxane, son David, and daughter Cassie all playing active roles in the ministry and this program.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. Road to Purity, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. You'll receive a tax receipt by email immediately after donating.

What if I can't afford to donate but still want the program?

The whole point of this campaign is to make the program accessible. Watch the livestream on May 2 — every livestream attendee receives a special announcement that opens a path to the program for free.

Can I donate after May 2nd?

Yes. The campaign runs for approximately one month after launch day. All giving levels and rewards remain available throughout the campaign window.
