Neighbors on the south side of Bernal Heights in San Francisco have come together to transform a neglected, weedy street into a beautiful green space for the community.

The city has labeled the 400 block of Ogden Avenue as an "unaccepted" street, meaning they will do nothing to improve it. As it stands, it has limited sidewalk, overgrown weeds, and has become an unkempt parking lot. Yet, this is a much traveled throughway for people going to the MUNI bus stop, parents taking their children to Ana's Daycare, and dog owners walking their pets. During rainy season it becomes a muddy mess.

We have gotten city approval to close down the street and we have received $300K in grants. The proceeds from this art auction with go towards the required matching funds. Click here to learn more about our project.

Please help us make our vision a reality by placing a bid on the beautiful art, donated by over 40 artists, many of them local. The online auction runs from Oct. 1-31. For an addition fee (mailing costs) we can ship art to people not in the Bay Area.
