Join us for an unforgettable night! Hear inspiring stories from young women in India and join in on the fellowship with live music, dancing, food, and drink. All proceeds benefit Milaan Foundation! Attire: Smart Casual or Indian Ethnic wear Disclaimer: You need to be 18 or above to purchase a ticket and attend the Milaan gala. By purchasing a Gala ticket, you agree that you may be photographed at the Milaan event. If you do not agree to allow your photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the organizers, and assigns, please inform one of the Milaan staff or write to us at hello@milaanfoundation.org. Your participation at the Milaan gala could entail the risk of personal injury. Such risks may include, but are not restricted to slips, falls, physical contact with other people, equipment or facilities, later accidents or abnormal climatic conditions. Maria Doughty leads The Chicago Network as CEO with a deep personal purpose and a steadfast commitment to empowering women to connect, lead, and inspire the next generation. She is passionate about creating opportunities for women in Chicago and beyond, and her service extends through her involvement on the Board of Directors for several local and national nonprofits focused on advancing gender equality and inclusivity worldwide. Milaan is inspired by Maria’s work ethic, her remarkable ability to foster collaboration, and her dedication to community service.

We are pleased to announce that NBC 5 news anchor Regina Waldroup will be joining us at our Chicago Gala on September 19th as the emcee for the evening.
Regina Waldroup joined the NBC 5 news team in 2013 as a general assignment reporter.
A native of Chicago's south suburbs, Regina is the youngest girl among eight siblings. Regina holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Roosevelt University and a master's degree in journalism from Columbia College Chicago. At Columbia, she teaches a course in which students prepare and produce a weekly news program for Chicago cable television.
In her spare time, Regina enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening and caring for her pet turtles.
