Country Childrens Center is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) day care center, licensed by the New York State Department of Social Services and accredited by NAEYC in Washington, D.C.

Country Childrens Center, which originated in 1967, provides quality day care, Monday through Friday, on a year round basis for children of working families in Northern Westchester and surrounding areas. Country Childrens Center offers developmentally appropriate programs for infant through school-age children. Overseen by a Board of Directors, they are the policy making body of the Center, consisting of people from the County, CCC parents with children in the Center, and other professional and upstanding people who are interested in the well being of our children, and the Center, in general. In an effort to make child care available to all families, the CCC has a substantial scholarship program available. This allows families without the financial means to take advantage of our services, and offers every child the opportunity to experience our unique programs.

Country Childrens Center receives almost all funding from enrollment tuition. However, tuition fees only cover a portion of our operating costs, and a continuous effort is necessary to close the gap between revenue and expenses. Fundraising by mail and special events are annual activities of the Center, and we frequently look to the community for donations. On top of those methods, we are always looking for ways to improve and expand our offerings by utilizing grants for which we qualify.
