Creating Space for Grief, Resilience, and Solidarity

Let It Move You: A Care Package for Grieving Times (Launching December 7).

This multi-lineage, contemplative practice space offers a sanctuary for individuals and communities impacted by systemic violence. Designed to nurture resilience and foster solidarity, the program brings activists and justice workers together to process grief and rage, while weaving connections across movements and generations. Your support allows us to hold and expand these essential spaces of healing and transformation.

Rapid Response, Action, and Repair through Refuge Circle

Refuge Circle Impact:
Over 50 community members regularly join Refuge Circle, where spiritual grounding meets timely action. Refuge Circle has become a hub for rapid mobilization, responding to crises like the ongoing fight for justice in Palestine and urgent climate action. These gatherings provide not only spiritual sustenance but also practices that sustain long-term movement work.

Through Refuge Circle, BPF uplifts the leadership and financial wellbeing of politicized BIPOC teachers and healers. At the same time, we organize individual Buddhists and meditation communities across the U.S. to amplify critical calls for action, such as supporting an arms embargo.

In October 2023, BPF became the first U.S. Buddhist organization to publicly support a free Palestine. In the face of widespread silence during a horrific genocide, we called for an end to Israel’s war of annihilation in Gaza and encouraged faith leaders to sign the multi-faith Apartheid-Free Communities Pledge. With your support, we can continue to stand boldly and mobilize communities for justice across borders.
