I am shaving in memory of my Dad. My father passed away from cancer in 2011 and was someone who had the greatest love for all children. He would never want any child to have to endure a battle with such a terrible disease. I feel this is a perfect way to honor the fantastic man, father and grandfather (pappou) that he was by raising money to support children, which he cared so deeply about. May his memory be eternal, may his arms be wrapped around all the brave little souls in heaven that our efforts are not able to save, and may our fundraising help those who are fighting bravely each and every day.
I am also shaving in honor of way too many close friends that have and continue to battle cancer. My thoughts and prayers are continually with you all.
