Sea turtle nesting season has arrived, and there’s no better way to welcome it than by Shellebrating with the Friends of the Carr Refuge! As these ancient mariners return to our shores under the cover of night, we’re coming together to honor, protect, and support this incredible natural event.

This year’s kickoff celebration promises an evening of connection, conservation, and coastal charm. Guests will enjoy delicious food and refreshing drinks while gathering with fellow supporters who share a passion for protecting sea turtles and the unique habitats of the refuge.

A highlight of the evening will be our silent auction, featuring a curated selection of local experiences, artwork, and special items. Every bid directly supports conservation efforts in the Archie Carr Wildlife Refuge.

We’ll also share exciting updates from the refuge, including recent conservation successes. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the impact of your support and how, together, we are making a difference for sea turtles and the ecosystems they depend on.
