Bid, give, and keep the music playing.

Sho-Bud Music Foundation opens music to players of every ability and preserves the legacy of The Sho-Bud Showcase.

We provide instruments, resources, and opportunities to people facing financial, physical, mental, or emotional challenges, using the accessibility of pedal steel and lap steel guitar to open music to players of every ability. We’re also digitizing and releasing the original reels of The Sho-Bud Showcase, Sho-Bud’s historic radio program, to safeguard an important chapter of country music and steel guitar history.

Where your support goes: Net proceeds from this Showcase, including every winning bid and every gift, will be distributed in equal shares to five organizations: United Cerebral Palsy, Friends Life Community, 9-1-1 Project Harmony, the Peter Frampton Myositis Research Fund, and the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network.

How the auction works: Register once, then bid on any item from your phone. If you’re outbid, we’ll let you know. Bidding closes at 2 AM Central the night of the show. Winners receive a payment request by email and have 48 hours to pay.

Not bidding? You can still give directly on this page.

Sho-Bud Music Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 42-3503165. Auction purchases are deductible only to the extent the amount paid exceeds the item’s fair market value.
