From Shoshoni to the National Stage: Help Our FBLA Champions!

We have some big news! Following an incredible performance at the State Leadership Conference, 18 of our dedicated Shoshoni High School students have officially qualified to compete at the FBLA National Leadership Conference (NLC).

This is a historic moment for our school. These students have put in countless hours of preparation, mastering business concepts, honing their public speaking, and proving that students from a small town in Fremont County can compete with the best in the nation.

The Challenge: $50,000 in 60 Days

While our students have the talent, we now face a significant financial hurdle. To get 18 competitors and 2 chaperones to the national stage, we need to raise nearly $50,000.

This budget covers:

Registration Fees: Entry into national-level competitive events.
Travel & Lodging: Round-trip transportation and safe accommodations for the duration of the conference.
Food & Fun: Our kids need to eat, and with 18 kids all on different schedules, we need to have things for them to do as a group while their teammates are competing and there are no workshops going on.
Professional Development: Access to workshops and networking with industry leaders from across the country.

Why It Matters

For many of these students, this isn't just a competition—it’s a life-changing opportunity. Representing SHS and Fremont County on a national stage allows our kids to:

Showcase their skills to potential recruiters and colleges.
Build confidence by competing against thousands of students from across the globe.
Bring back leadership skills that will benefit our school and community for years to come.

How You Can Help

We are asking our community, local businesses, and FBLA supporters to help us bridge the gap. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly toward reducing the out-of-pocket cost for these hardworking students. Some local businesses have showed up for our kids by donating some amazing items for this silent auction, and now it's up to the community to help out by participating in the auction! This is a hybrid auction, hosted both online and on site at our craft fair fundraiser on June 13th at the Fremont Center of the fairgrounds in Riverton.
