Pegasus Therapeutic Riding's mission is to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities and challenges through equine assisted activities and education. Located in Brewster, NY Pegasus serves between 250-300 individuals annually and offers three core programs: Therapeutic Riding, Therapeutic Horsemanship and Therapeutic Horsemanship for PTSD/Truama.

None of the work we do would be possible without our talented therapy hoses, who empower our participants every day.

The average cost for one of our equine partner’s care is $10,000 per year. This cost covers all aspects of our herd’s care, including veterinary services, nutritious meals, comfortable shelter, and more.

All funds raised during our Sip Into Spring auction, highlighting the beautiful photography of Sarah Corbin, will go directly towards the care of our exceptional equine partners.

About The Artist:

Sarah, originally a classical musician, a printmaker, abstract artists, global traveler, photographer and long time Pegasus volunteer passed in 2022. Sarah is fondly remembered by those who knew her and her beautiful artwork. Sarah's works feature landscapes and equestrian photography from her 40 years of travel.

While Sarah wasn't traveling the world she donated her photography and equestrian skills to Pegasus. Sarah worked as a volunteer, photographing Pegasus' annual horse shows and in program as a side walker for many years.

Sarah's service helped us to capture the smiles, excitement and achievements of our participants forever on film. And for that we are eternally grateful.
