Every year, over 2 million people are diagnosed with cancer—and many have families whose lives are suddenly upended with no road map of what comes next. At Camp Kaleidoscope, we make sure no child or family has to face that uncertainty alone. We’re a local community serving more than 120 children and their families in the Bay Area through our week-long summer camp and year-round events. With a dedicated counselor for every two children and mental health professionals on site, camp remains entirely free for all families. Beyond summer, we stay connected through sporting events and gatherings, ensuring every family has a support network in place—through their brightest moments and their darkest days.

We invite you to Spark a Smile, our annual gala on April 12, 2026 at 5pm at the Los Altos Community Center. This special evening celebrates our campers and families—and helps us reach our $50,000 fundraising goal. Enjoy a lively cocktail reception, try your hand at making friendship bracelets, and dine while hearing uplifting camp stories, live music, and participating in our silent and live auctions (including a delicious dessert auction by our counselors). A fun paddle raise will cap off the night—every contribution makes a tangible impact on our programs.
