No Laying Up Roost events, historically, emphasize 3 things: camaraderie, community, and competitive golf. The last of which is loosely defined. We, The Peachtree Collective, are a community of Georgia and Alabama golfers regularly getting together to play golf. Our outings focus on the people, the golf, and the stories. Annually, we mobilize our community to support a local organization, a cornerstone function of Roosts across the United States and the UK.

In 2024, we've partnered with Excel Youth Academy (EYA), a tremendous Atlanta based nonprofit that builds a community of well-balanced youth, who are equipped with the necessary knowledge to cultivate a network of lifelong success.

Using the lessons from the game of golf and the teachings from STEAM activities, EYA provides a fun safe space for our youth between the ages of 7 and 17 to accelerate and advance within their own definitions of achievement! By eliminating the intimidation factor surrounding the game of golf, EYA provides an inviting atmosphere for young golfers from all backgrounds wanting to enhance their skills and opportunities beyond school.
