Every year at Austin Scottish Rite Theater we see thousands of children come through our doors. Whether they're on stage or in the audience, our priority is always to educate through entertainment. By bidding in this silent auction, you can help us do that.

Proceeds from the Storybook Ball Silent Auction will go towards craft supplies for our Summer Camps, and funding for our Summer Camp Scholarships, which will allow us to reach more children from low-income families, who might not otherwise be able to attend. Proceeds from the silent auction and from the Storybook Ball itself will also help us keep reduced ticket prices for the community and Title I School field trips, as well as provide funding for our upcoming season and building repairs. (As Austin's oldest theater, built in 1871, our gorgeous building has also gotten a little needy over the many, many years. Relatable, right?)

When you bid in our silent auction you're providing the chance for children to learn skills in our camps that they'll use their whole lives.

When you share our silent auction with your friends, family, and colleagues you're helping our community grow, and giving more children the opportunity to experience live theater.

When you attend the Storybook Ball on Saturday, March 14th you're celebrating literacy and art, and bringing both to the children of Austin.
