UPDATE - Student for Student Fundraising has, unfortunately, made the decision to postpone this event until fall 2026. While ticket sales are being suspended for the time being, the ability to make donations and bid on auction items will remain open. Refunds on ticket sales can be requested by The Academy.

Student for Student is a group of volunteer students that is self-organized, self-governed, and work in partnership with The Chicago Academy for the Arts to enhance student financial assistance opportunities. Organized in the spring of 2026 in response to a restructuring of financial assistance programs at The Academy, SFS leveraged tremendous student interest to launch its inaugural fundraising event on Sunday, May 31 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. SFS invites everyone to take part in this exciting event that has a goal of raising $20,000 to enhance financial assistance opportunities for the incoming class of 2026-27, and beyond.

SFS embraces the mission to enhance The Chicago Academy for the Arts' ability to remain accessible to a broad and diverse student body through raising awareness of financial assistance needs and funds to help support The Academy's ability to provide financial assistance to its students.

SFS was founded by Sebastian Stan and Margaret Alznauer in April 2026. The organizations first board included: Chair Noa Garcia, Vice Chair Suleyka Suri, and Media & Creative Director Maaha Webb. SFS is recognized by The Chicago Academy for the Arts as both a student organization and key partner.
