Science of Spirits is an immersive evening unlike anything else in Waco, bringing together craft beverages, culinary experiences, and hands-on STEAM discovery in support of Transformation Waco.

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, guests will explore interactive tasting stations featuring whiskey, vodka, rum, tequila, gin, mocktails, beer, and wine—each paired with chef-inspired cuisine and engaging demonstrations that explore the science behind distillation, fermentation, flavor, and cocktail creation. The evening also includes silent and live auctions, as well as interactive experiences throughout the Bledsoe-Miller STEAM Center.

Hosted by Transformation Waco, the nonprofit that operates the City of Waco’s Bledsoe-Miller STEAM Center, Science of Spirits raises funds to expand hands-on STEAM learning opportunities beyond the Center’s walls—bringing innovative educational experiences directly into neighborhoods, schools, and community spaces throughout Waco.
