Foster Alumni Mentors (FAM) is excited to announce our 2nd Annual Sun, Sips, and Scholarships – Raising the Bar for Foster Care Scholars fundraiser event! This special event will take place Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 5:30pm – 8:00pm atop the rooftop of 734 Main Street offering beautiful views of the Grand Valley and will include our signature drink, Costa Vida taco bar, music, and a silent auction! All proceeds benefit the Foster Alumni Mentors Scholarship Fund to further personal, educational, and career goals for individuals who have experienced foster or kinship care. Tickets are $40 per person. Ticket Sales end 6/7/23. Price at door: $50
Story
Belonging and community is what we all want to experience. Youth from the foster care system can feel alone and ashamed of their story, leaving them feeling like an outsider. Foster Alumni Mentors is about FAMily ~ supporting, preparing, and building confidence in individuals who have experienced foster care.
