BAYS-MITC Superbloom Soirée: 20th Anniversary Party & Fundraiser

BAYS-MITC is turning 20: it’s time to celebrate! The Superbloom Soirée is a 250-person celebration during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and a chance to commemorate this major milestone, mingle with members and supporters, and introduce our loved ones to an organization that means so much to us. There will be plenty of food, a silent auction, and a DJ-ed dance party. Don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes! Ticket price: General admission is $100. BAYS members will receive $25 off the general admission price. Discount does not apply to non-members. Register now! Can’t attend but want to celebrate this milestone? We greatly appreciate any donations! Please note: this is a solicitation event. We will ask guests to make donations to BAYS.
Story
Since its founding in 2003, Bay Area Young Survivors (BAYS) has helped well over a thousand people navigate the unique challenges that young survivors face to break the isolation that comes with this diagnosis. This year, we’re bringing together our members and supporters to celebrate two decades of perseverance at the BAYS’ Superbloom Soirée: 20th Anniversary Party and Fundraiser.
The Superbloom Soirée is more than a fundraiser. While twenty years is a milestone worthy of celebration for any nonprofit, it is an even bigger accomplishment for a fully volunteer- and survivor-led organization. The many donations from our network of supporters, a shared commitment to “pay it forward” by members stepping up to lead, and a community built on compassion has allowed BAYS to persist in spite of the collective hardships our members face. Now that is worth celebrating.
We have set a $100,000 fundraising goal for this event. This funding ensures that we can serve more than 100 new members who join BAYS every year while providing meaningful programming for all our members for years to come. Please donate to show your support!
