Why We Are Golfing

For many kids in our area, school lunch is the most reliable meal of the day. When Friday afternoon rolls around, the hunger gap begins. Our Buddy Box program helps to bridge this weekend hunger gap for Columbus area children by providing Buddy Boxes filled with nutritious, kid- friendly, non-perishable, easy to prepare food for the weekend to alleviate hunger. This event directly supports our program, helping ensure children in need have access to a reliable and consistent source of food on the weekends, when school provided meals are not available.

The Impact You Make

Each Buddy Box costs approximately $5 to create. Your support keeps Buddy Boxes keep coming each week! Currently, $190 covers the cost of weekend Buddy Boxes for one child for the whole school year.

Your donations directly fuel this vital program. When you participate, you are not just providing food; you are providing the energy a child needs to learn, grow, and just be a kid!

Ready to jump in? Let's do this and help connect hungry children in our community with the food they need on the weekends. Thank you!
