Because this sponsorship includes multiple tangible and promotional benefits, the final fair market value should be established before the tax acknowledgement is issued. The potential charitable contribution is the amount of the $50,000.00 sponsorship that exceeds the total fair market value of all goods, services, advertising, hospitality, and other return benefits provided to the sponsor, subject to applicable tax law.
