Friends, EstroGenius 2025 was INCREDIBLE. Our ambitious and audacious performance community rose to the challenge and made something truly inspiring happen.

Your support today is imperative for us to confidently close the books on 2025 and head bravely into 2026. 💝

We've raised alllllmost everything we need to finish paying our artists and teams - YOUR HELP to push us over this $2500 hurdle is all that is left to keep EstroGenius going!

EstroGenius presents new plays, dance and experimental work in five venues over three weeks across NYC May 8-24, 2025!

EstroGenius 2025: ALL IN is set to open on May 8, 2025 and will last three weeks, span 5 venues and host 40+ performances of work by women, trans and non-binary artists.

We have raised $21,000 in grants and donations so far with two additional grants still to come in! Now we need OUR COMMUNITY to raise the last $5,000 more to cover expenses for artists, tech support and final payments to venues!

MORE ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Founded as a short play festival in 2000 at Manhattan Theatre Source's sweet brick 'n mortar space in the West Village, EstroGenius is the longest running festival of it's kind in NYC. The EstroGenius Festival is an annual performance platform for women, trans and non-binary artists spanning genres from plays, musicals, djs to experimental dance. The festival annually hosts over 100 talented artists ready to break molds and crack gender codes.

ALL IN offers work by artists that are famous, like Ana Rokafella Garcia or Deb Margolis, to those that are not yet known...like Kara Beadle or Verbal Animal....Help us make all of these performances possible!

Tickets are on sale, with sliding scales, bundles that equal savings and more to make the shows as fully affordable as we can manage. Art is for everyone, and we are ALL IN with art, community and incredible artists!

We are honored to have support from New York State Council for the Arts/Governor Kathy Hochul, from The Department of Cultrual Affairs in NYC via a Creative Communities grant from Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC), cool stuff from Materials for the Arts and a generous producer donation from John C. Robinson... Friends - we are here because it's just not quite enough! We've gotta close this budget gap to make the festival happen!
