These incredible surfboards were created by our students as part of our folk artist unit studying and admiring the art of Drew Brothy, also known as the "Surf Artist" due to his amazing talent for painting surfboards.

Our second-grade students painted and created captivating 3D art pieces to adorn the surfboard. Their imaginative work brought to life an enchanting under-the-sea and beach scene, creating a truly awesome and vibrant display. Not to be outdone, our seventh and eighth-grade students enthusiastically took on the challenge of painting their own surfboards. With their unique artistic expressions, they depicted a beach scene, capturing the essence of summer and the mysterious spirit of the deep blue sea.
