Pierce County is filled with thousands of hurting kids and recent years have shown a rise in mental health issues like extreme loneliness, depression, and suicidal ideation. Tacoma Area Youth for Christ reaches 11 to 19-year-olds in our community through ministry models like Campus Life, Parent Life, Juvenile Justice Ministry, and Mentor One80, introducing them to the hope of Jesus and providing the positive relationships that impact resilience, growth, educational outcomes, and long-term societal change.

Every kid deserves to be met right where they're at with the kind of help and hope they need. We go where most others won't: into Remann Hall and the juvenile justice system to minister to kids, onto campuses with middle and high school students, and alongside teen parents who often do not have any other support. The Celebration of Hope is your opportunity to join in this important work (and have a great time while you do!).
