Tattoo collectors have big hearts and most of us literally wear them on our sleeves. Over the course of our lives we have formed a close bond with our animal counterparts and they play a huge role in our day to day lives. The tattoo community has always rallied when called and I started this fundraising event in the hopes that we can rally around our local Humane Society by raising some money and supplies to help keep their operations running.

Most of the behind the scenes financial strain that it takes to keep a shelter up and running revolves around housing, feeding, cleaning and medical procedures for the critters that come through their door.

The objective during our month long Tats for Tails event is to sponsor at least one kennel space at the HSNBA for the whole year as well as donating as much money, pet food and cleaning supplies as we can gather. A kennel sponsorship pays for food water and upkeep for any animal that is housed in that kennel for 365 days.

We reach this objective with help from you! You can graciously donate monetarily through our givebutter link, bid on our online auction items donated by local businesses, drop off cleaning supplies and pet food at our business location. Then join us for a three day tattoo party at the shop where we donate a portion of the proceeds from the tattoos done that weekend to wrap the benefit up.

The New Braunfels Area Humane Society services all of the greater Comal County; they are severely understaffed and overwhelmed. Please help us raise money and awareness the month of July!
